A Heartfelt Thank You and Holiday Wishes from Shuang Long Martial Arts Team SLMA at Rude Dog Boxing in Bradenton, FL As we wrap up an incredible 2025, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each member of our Shuang Long Martial Arts family. This year has been nothing short of transformative. We've had the privilege to compete in several tournaments, grow our community, and expand our classes into a new location at Rude Dog Boxing in Bradenton.   A special highlight of our year was celebrating Bobby Nelson's promotion to black sash—an achievement that embodies our dedication and hard work.   Looking ahead to 2026, I am filled with anticipation for what's to come. We’re set for more success, enriched seminars, and a strong presence at the ICMAC in Orlando this summer.  We’re proud to announce our first-ever Black Sash student: Bobby Nelson Bobby has trained under Shifu German Garcia for over six years and has earned several medals in international tournaments. He demonstrates a deep understanding of Shaolin Kungfu hand forms and weapons, self-defense, and sparring. He has competed in Sanda at the amateur level and is currently training in Muay Thai. Bobby previously held a 1st degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and is now studying Aerospace Engineering at Embry–Riddle in Florida. We are extremely proud of Bobby and his achievements as a Shaolin Kungfu Da Shi Xiong, and we look forward to an exciting future together.
